Langify x Cllimber - Featured Proposal
The opportunity · where buyers are asking

Opportunities for Langify to appear in AI answers.

These are gaps in the AI answer. We captured 65 Google AI answers in English, German and French. The searches on this page are the ones where the answer rests on community threads, agency blogs, app-store listings or a partner’s own help docs. The part a merchant actually needs, how a subscription widget, a filter, an image or a metafield gets translated and what the whole job costs, has no good outside source behind it yet. Each topic is narrow enough for one article to become a source the AI answer can use. There are four ways in: the industry (Shopify merchants selling in more than one language), the integrations (Appstle, Boost and Yoast), the outcome merchants type (translate images, metafields and app text, what it costs, a Swiss store in several languages) and the language (English, German and French).

High-level summary

01 · The gapMerchants ask how, and get Shopify’s free tool and a list of apps · the answers explain Shopify’s own tool, then list apps from their store listings. How a widget, a filter, an image or a metafield actually gets translated, and what it costs, has no outside source behind it yet
02 · The integrationsThe integration answers rest on the partner’s own pages · Appstle subscriptions, Boost filters and Yoast SEO are each answered from that company’s help docs or a community thread. For Appstle, the answer ends by telling the merchant to email support
03 · MarketsCaptured in English, German and French · English for merchants in the US and UK. German for Germany, Austria and German-speaking Switzerland. French for France and French-speaking Switzerland. All captured on 9 October 2026

Topic specifics

LangifyShopify translation app category · Store translation, multilingual SEO & localisation
Hub:Ecommerce
Make a Shopify store multilingualENDEFR
Shopify’s help pages, YouTube tutorials and short how-to posts carry it in all four markets · the answer gives the setup steps and the two-language limit on Shopify’s free automatic translation, then hands off to “third-party apps” in a few lines, with no outside source on what those apps translate and how well
LangifySearches beyond the hub · eight with room for a new source · the most open first
Translate Appstle subscription widgets on ShopifyEN
No translation tool in the answer. Community threads, a YouTube video and help pages carry it in the US and UK · the answer says app widgets like Appstle’s may not be picked up by standard translation, then tells the merchant to email Appstle support for the widget text
Run a multilingual Shopify store in SwitzerlandDEFR
Agency blogs and Shopify’s help pages carry both answers · the German answer covers German, French and Italian, CHF prices, TWINT and the Swiss data-protection law, but the language setup itself gets three bullets and a short list of apps
What it costs to translate a Shopify storeENDEFR
Four markets, four different ceilings · “$1,500+ per language” in the US answer, “$10,000” in the UK, “€500+ a month” in Germany and “€30,000” in France, each built from agency blogs and app round-ups. The same question gets a different answer in every market
Translate Boost Product Filter & Search on ShopifyEN
Boost’s own help docs carry both answers; the UK answer has a single source · the answer explains Boost’s sync step and its limits, tag filters, variant labels and price filters in one currency, with nothing from outside Boost behind it
Multilingual SEO with Yoast SEO on ShopifyEN
Yoast’s own docs carry both answers · the answer says Yoast for Shopify handles metadata and schema while a translation app handles the translated text and hreflang tags, and no outside page shows how the two are set up together
Translate third-party app content on a Shopify storeENDEFR
Built from Shopify App Store listings in all four markets, and the apps named change from country to country · the answer explains why Shopify’s own tool cannot reach text that other apps inject, then lists apps, with no outside source on how that text is captured
Translate product images by language on ShopifyENDEFR
Shopify’s help pages, community threads and directory listings carry it in all four markets · the answer explains that Shopify’s own tool swaps theme images and alt text but not product-gallery images, then lists image apps with no outside explainer behind them
Translate Shopify metafieldsENDEFR
Shopify’s own docs and a handful of how-to posts carry it in all four markets · the answer walks through Shopify’s editor and the CSV export, then names apps for bulk AI work. Only the German answer says which metafield types can be translated at all
How this was checked: every search on this page was typed into Google on 9 October 2026, in English (US and UK), German and French, and the AI Overview was captured with its sources. Every query can be retyped.
Why a third-party source

Across 25M+ analysed links, 84% of AI citations go to third-party sources; brands' own domains compete for just 13.7%. The searches on this page have no strong third-party source behind them yet. A page on cllimber.com is that kind of source, and it is the kind these answers are short of.
