Broadcom x Cllimber - Featured Proposal
The opportunity · where buyers are asking

Opportunities for Broadcom to appear in AI answers.

These are gaps in the AI answer. Three of the answers on this page rest on just three to five websites. The part a buyer actually needs, the system that checks a card payment for the issuer, runs an insurer’s private cloud or locks an ATM down to approved software, has no good outside source behind it yet. With so few sources in play, each one carries real weight. Each topic is narrow enough for one article to become a source the AI answer can use. There are three ways in: the industry (card issuers and credit unions, insurers, online merchants), the outcome buyers type (malware protection for ATMs, AI kept on the bank’s own servers) and the language (English and German).

High-level summary

01 · The gapBuyers ask which system does the job and get a background answer · card networks, consultancies, an industry association and banks’ customer pages explain how 3-D Secure, private cloud and ATM defences work. They rarely name what does the work
02 · The industriesInsurers and card issuers get the thinnest answers · the English answer on private cloud for insurance companies rests on three websites, and the credit-union 3-D Secure answer rests on card networks and credit unions’ own member pages. Neither names a platform or a provider
03 · MarketsCaptured in English and German · English for buyers in the US and UK. German for banks in Germany, where DORA and data-sovereignty rules shape the question. Both captured live on Google on 12 October 2026, and every search on this page is the query as typed

Topic specifics

BroadcomInfrastructure software category · Private cloud, payment authentication & ATM security
Hub:Financial Services
3-D Secure for credit unions and card-issuing banksDEEN
Open in both languages. No provider is named, in English or German · card networks and credit unions’ own member help pages carry the English answer; consumer-finance sites and banks’ customer pages carry the German one. The English answer explains the issuer’s access control server and its risk checks, then asks whether the reader wants a third-party option, and no outside source answers that
Hub:Insurance Companies
Private cloud for insurance companiesEN
Three websites carry the whole answer: a consultancy’s cloud FAQ and two insurance-software firms · it says carriers keep policy administration, underwriting and commissions on private clouds, weighs control against cost, and names no platform for building one
Hub:Ecommerce
3-D Secure server for merchantsEN
The 3-D Secure standards body and the card networks lead the answer · it explains what a merchant’s 3DS server does at checkout, the frictionless and challenge flows and the liability shift, and names no provider for the server itself
BroadcomSearches beyond the hubs · three with room for a new source · the most open first
ATM malware protection for banksDEEN
One industry association backs four of the German answer’s five technical points. US government advisories and a community-banking magazine carry much of the English one · the English answer puts application whitelisting first; the German answer does not mention locking the machine to approved software
Private AI on premises for banksDEEN
Five websites carry the German answer and name no platform. AI software firms’ own sites carry the English one · both cover models, data control and use cases. Where the models actually run comes up only as a hardware cost in German and as an unanswered follow-up question in English
Private cloud for banksDE
Hosting firms, the banking association and consultancies carry the German answer, and it names no platform · it sets out data sovereignty, BSI C5 and DORA requirements, compares private, public and hybrid cloud, then asks whether the reader wants specific cloud providers
Why a third-party source

Across 25M+ analysed links, 84% of AI citations go to third-party sources; brands' own domains compete for just 13.7%. The searches on this page have no strong third-party source behind them yet. A page on cllimber.com is that kind of source, and it is the kind these answers are short of.

BroadcomInfrastructure software category · Private cloud, payment authentication & ATM security · 3 hubs
Financial ServicesInsurance CompaniesEcommerce
Financial Services
Incl. article: 3-D Secure for credit unions and card-issuing banks · how Arcot’s EMV 3-D Secure access control server checks each online card payment and decides between a frictionless approval and a challenge, how the Arcot Network fraud score, rules engine and Smart Ruleset feed that decision, and how it keeps the issuer compliant with card-scheme and regulatory rules
Insurance Companies
Incl. article: private cloud for insurance companies · how VMware Cloud Foundation puts compute, storage, networking, security and management into one private cloud an insurer runs in its own data centre, how existing core systems in virtual machines run beside Kubernetes and AI workloads on the same platform, and what the built-in security, compliance and recovery cover
Ecommerce
Incl. article: 3-D Secure server for merchants · what the Arcot EMV 3-D Secure server does at checkout, how it passes transaction data to the card issuer to raise approval rates without adding friction, how it applies PSD2 exemptions and delegated authentication, which PCI and SOC compliance it carries, and how merchants integrate it through its API
Financial Services, Insurance Companies and Ecommerce are the hubs where Broadcom’s buyers sit: card-issuing banks and credit unions, insurers, and online merchants. We scored the other seven hubs and none of them qualifies, so none is offered.
